Raymond Keaney FIHI, Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality Management, IT Tallaght

Raymond Keaney is a Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality Management at IT Tallaght. He is a director of South Dublin County Tourism Ltd and a consultant and mentor to client companies of the County Enterprise Boards and Leader. His primary interest lies in tourism policy and he has spoken at national and international conferences, including the Asia Tourism Forum 2012, on this theme. He recently appeared on RTE's "The Business Show" highlighting the potential of Irish tourism to aid our economic recovery and the need to develop a strategic plan for the sector. His blog "Irish Tourism Times" provides authoritative insights into developments in the tourism and hospitality industry. He is a Fellow of the Irish Hospitality Institute and a Member of the Institute of International and European Affairs. He is a graduate of DIT Cathal Brugha St, Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin.
