The Irish Hospitality Institute is your professional institute for mangers in hospitality industry in ireland. The role of the institute is to foster, facilitate and promote professionalism amongst hospitality managers in the industry.
The launch of a formal CPD programme for the first time by the Irish Hospitality Institute is a tool by which hospitality managers can use the guidance that is provided to manage their own CPD and gain formal CPD status accredited by the Institute.
The Programme is manditory for memeber categories of the Institute and there is clear requirements that must be completed on an annual basis in order to achieve formal accreditation. Once your PDP plan is completed it must be submitted for validation.
NOTE: While the programme stipluates 60CPD points to be achieved on and annual basis for certification, for 2012 & 2013 a phasing process will apply with a requirement for 30CPD points to be achived recrod or on the CPD programme.
